How old must my pet be to be trained to the fence?

First, it’s important that your pet already be well adjusted to the home environment before training starts. There are no size limitations, but we do recommend your pet be at least 12 weeks of age.

How long is it going to take to train my dog to the fence?

It usually takes about four days for our trainer to train your dog. A four-day training package comes with our complete package. You follow a few simple rules and most dogs are running free in your yard in 4 days. Our gentle, positive reinforcement method of training has drastically reduced the amount of time it takes to train. If you choose to train your dog yourself to the fence it can take up to 4 weeks with no guarantee of results.

Will this hurt my dog?

The beep and correction serve as a novel stimulus that simply marks your new boundary. It has been tested and verified as harmless by university studies.

Will the installation damage my yard?

Our machines cut and bury wire at the same time, leaving virtually no sign of installation other than white flags marking your new boundary.

When do the batteries need to be replaced in the receiver?
